Big Brothers Big Sisters
Schonewill International donated design services for the Mercer Chubby Vicens Mentoring center. Debra is also a Big Sister mentor to Little Brother, Keaka who is now 20. ‘This is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.’ She was awarded the honor of Big Sister of the year in 2007. I encourage you volunteer to be a mentor to change a child’s life and support the BBBS organization.

Maui Memorial Medical Center
Schonewill International donated design services for the Medical Center cafeteria. Debra volunteered and sat on the Strategic Planning Committee that brought the expansion to the hospital presently.

Paia Main Street Association
Debra Schonewill was the Chair person of the Board for 7 years. This important volunteer community group recommended important policies for our historical beach town. Also they review any new developer projects, infrastructure and make recommendations to the County of Maui Planning Department.

Paia Neighborhood Makana Park
Debra Schonewill, along with a small committee, were responsible to negotiate and implement design of an 8 acre County park.
